PCV valve

I have a 94 celica gt, and it seems like it is running a bit rough, mostly notice at like low rpm in town. i did find that the PCV valve is not fitting tightly in the crankcase. Could this be causing a vacuum leak and causing my issue? How does one replace that valve? seems like it doesnt come out to easy.

Nop, PCV is in front of throttle. No air flow once throttle is closed. What do you mean by rough? like bouncing up and down? Anyway get a can of throttle body cleaner and clean the throttle body. Make sure you spray a lot into the holes on bottom of TB. Also check and make sure your sparks are good.

It will hesitate when going steady speed in town, idle seems very smooth but at low rpm in low gear i can really feel it. sputter go, sputter go etc.... cant figure it out. kind of feels like a car running out of gas, but its not near as noticeable.

Get a bottle of injection cleaner also. Check spark plugs and rotor. Oh could be O2 sensor or plug up cat.

I have run through a full bottle of seafoam sucking it into the throttle body while running. seemed to help for a bit. I dont have a check engine light, i thought if it was o2 sensor i would at least have that on.

An old O2 which doesn't heat up enough at low rpm will not through a code. Acturally as long as its not open circuit, there will be no code but you engine will be running rich.
I don't know if seafoam in intake will clean injector or not.
