4th gen 5th gen help plz...

okay so i have a 1990celicaGT and the body is in really bad shape but the engine is strong and trany and clutch are good....Also i saw that post for the 88celica gts (thx to the guy who posted that btw) Well i was thinking of buying that car and then keeping mine for parts but im not ecatly sure what kind of things would be useable from my 5th gen to the 4th gen.
Also i am still a beginer with cars and that celica would need a new clutch i was just wondering if you guys think its a good idea to go for or just try and find something else? any suggestions would be great thx :)

Non, even engine is different. You can swap the engine and tranny but .....
Get a body shop to fix the body and paint it again.

well the bodywork/paint will be about 2000-2500 alone and then i still have to deal with a gas leak (not sure where) and the brake lines are all rusted so i need to have them totally redone:(

like i suggested on TN, i think you will be better off an save yourself a lot of headache and money if you just find a better condition vehicle.

Cut your losses, get a newer car, and get a warrenty. Less headaches
