2002 TRD GT-S question

A friend of mine just bought a 2002 TRD GT-S. The car came with an Injen CAI. Is this stock, or was it an upgrade from the previous owner. If it isn't stock, what was the OEM that was in place.

it is not stock stock is the air box whic is common on both gt and gts
