I put aftermarket 6.5 2 way speakers. Besides, most audio guys will tell u that ur rear speakers are more for mid to low range. We have tweeters in the front anyways for the high range. It'll kinda conflict with the tweeters a bit and won't sound as good if u get 3 ways.

TBH the stock speekers are pretty good. *Yep the fronts 6.5" Unfortunatly if you decide to change the stock speekers for aftermarket ones you the stocks will be destroyed as they are moulded into the mounting bracket. I modified this by clipping out the stock speakers, retained the Infinity Kappas in place. *For the tweater its best to drill out, as the heat and screwdriver method won't budge the screw thats Dman tight. *You can still save the stock mid speaker bracket, if you purchase a aftermarket speaker bracket can't remeber the link i'm sure someone else knows, but the tweater will require a custom bracket unless you reuse the stock one which I did. *

I used the stock wiring connectors bit of DIY soldering so that everything can be uncliped if needed. * But the 6.5" mounting bracket was a real bitch to put back. *Little trick is to put some glue onthe bolts (I used plastic ones) then hold the bracket into position, push bolts through from behind, then nuts on ASAP tightten. Not alot of space to get your arm behind and inside the door pannel but its possible. *I would strongly recommend using DYNA matting or other sound deading material around the mid speaker mount and door frame to stop vibration. *Which I did'nt do but regretfully........ forgot LOL.

Almost forgot whilst drilling out the rivits which are holding inthe stock speaker make sure they don't spin as the friction will melt the plastic bracket, rendering it useless.
