also remember that MR2's use staggered wheel widths.

so would a 17 inch rim with a 41 or 42 offset fit without rubbing?

Well I have a possible buyer for rims, and they want to know if 41 offset will fit their car(MR2) The tires are 235/45ZR17.

According to tirerack, the MR2 can take up to 245/35-18 in the rear, and up to 215/35-18. same with 17's 245/40-17 and 215/40-17.

Well I answered my own question, but thought Id post it incase anyone else was curious to know.

Thanks Ratko for your help

*Edit: Just rechecked, it says for a Celica GT-S optional size is 215/40-17. I fit these on the celica with no problems, and plenty of room, with a drop.

Ratko have you put after market rims on your deuce, and if so, whats the widest you went in the front. thanks

235's will not fit in the front.

and 235's in the rear w/ +41 offset will look weird on an MR2, and might contact the strut, being that wide and tucked in.
