question on 5 point harnesses

i have a 2000 gts somebody told me that you could keep the factory seats and still have a harness is there any truth to this?

i havent found a racing seat that i think is as comfortable as the stock seats.

The stock seats are nice, and yes, you can put a 5 point on them. Personally, i prefer a 4 point.

u still need stock attached because in canada apparently they are illegal

Yes. Not sure about all of Canada but Racing Harnesses in cars in Ontario are illegal. In a way its a good thing. It's because most harnesses that are not for racing purposes are bolted to the same bolt your seat sits on. If you were to get into an accident, the harness will pull you down instead of straight back (if it was bolted properly) possibly causing bodily harm...
