just wanted to introduce myself
hey guys my name is mike and i just bought a 1994 celica gt. its black with a black leather interior. 600 bucks. good deal eh? the only set back to it is that i think it needs a new clutch. it wont go into gear and when i shut it off and put it in gear it makes a nasty metal on metal sound. it gets worse when i put the clutch all the way to the floor. is it intensive labor to put a clutch in this car? any advice would help. thanks.

doesn't sound like a clutch problem... sounds like a tranny problem, possibly syncros

makes me sound ripped off :( I bought my 89 celica GT for $1000, no major issues, BUT mine did come with 10's and 12's already installed ;)

Yeah that definatly doesn't sound like a clutch. nice part is that a tranny will only set you back 4-500 and then a 200 clutch and your rockin a 1200 Black celica

mods:
modified factory airbox, k&n panel filter, removed back seat, stg 2 clutch, c-one style frp high rise wide bulge scoop, pure white driving, highs, and fogs, 6" stubby antenna, filled in rear lp valance black housing head and tail lights, de-badged, adjustable coilovers(2-2.5 drop) after market center mount fog lights.
need to do:
mount hood diffusers, re-do axle back "keep racing on the track and off the roads" 0-60: top of 2nd gear |
