Got bored today!

Well I was bored this morning so here's what I did to my st184
Today.
1. Removed cruise control and rerouted throttle cable around
The back of the motor to hook up directly to the tb.

2. Removed a/c compressor and lines. Short-belted alternator.

3. Rerouted fuse box under the hood.

4. Removed stock intake box from fender and rerouted the cai filter
Into the fender.

5. Removed the 2 inch lift I had put on the hood and made it right at
3/4 of a lift.

6. Removed back seat and spare tire.

I will be posting a link for pictures here shortly. I'm waiting on my
Settlement to come in and then the 5sgte project will be underway!

Any comments? Lol. The only reason I post pics of what I do is to
Inspire other owners to get out there and do things to their cars. :)
These are simple things that anyone can do! O and sorry about the pic
Sizes. I do everything on my blackberry. Don't have a comp. :(

Its not too bad I guess. I'm used to working on freightliners and cat
Trucks so the parts seem to be A LOT lighter on an automobile. Lol

how much weight did you remove out of the car with all that stuff yanked

Well if I had to guess with all of it combined probally 70lbs.

Prob a good 70 to 80 lbs.

not yet. i got about 95% of my parts need. on the 15th ill get paid again and then crank gets sent to the machinest shop. im waiting also on my buddy he said he would do a port and polish on my head for a 6 pack. he just needs certain tools lol. all i need now is maybe 4 or 5 more parts then im done. with the motor section at least lol. ima contact edo to see whats the status of my cam gears due to being back ordered.

im not sure if you did this or not but you could also remove the ac condenser and all the lines. that should remove another good 10-15 lbs. the ac condenser looks like a radiator and is in front of the radiator. just fyi. if you removed your ac compressor theres no need for it anymore. also i just noticed you just used washer for your spacer huh? lol

That's good news. I'm tempted to drive 1 mile down the road to
Pick up a 3sge header but the owner wants $200 for it!!!

Hmmm.. Interesting. How much you think shipping would be?

Question sub. Would you install the existing cat with the
3sge header or leave it off? Ima have all new exhaust piping
Welded on with a new magnaflow twin tip muffler. Would you
Leave the stock size piping or go with bigger?

With the header it will eliminate one of the cats. Ill post a pic of it. When I get a chance. Its a long tube header.
