215/35/18 is cheaper on rubber

225/40/18 has more surface area + better traction

you will need "tuner nuts". Kyokugen are good, they are heptagon nuts(7sided) which require a key(included)

nice one, thanks.

Now I'm thinking of getting wheel locks.
What do you think?

depends on the wheel locks. If you get cheap ones, they wont do much, cheap ones normally repeat the pattern of the lock. Combine special tuner nuts, with good wheel lock. Even with wheel locks, rims can still be stolen, it just takes longer. So think of them as a deterent. Most wheel theifs wont bother, but a pro has the right tools, anything is easy when you have the right tools. Car dealerships normally have most wheel lock patterns. When I worked at Ford, they had hundreds of wheel lock keys.

Overall, they are a good idea.
