Please Help - 2.0 Celica Convertible - Warming up problem??
Hi, I'm new and wonder if anyone can help. I have a 1995 2.0 Celica Convertible automatic. Recently, i noticed the temperature guage basically does not climb at all unless i sit stationery for a while? Then it climbs to normal temerature (mid guage) until i'm off in the clear again and it will drop. This also appears to effect my auto transmission? When cold, the engine usually holds the revs high until the engine is at normal temperature, then allows the overdrive to kick in. This takes much longer than usual but does still happen. However at times, i lose the kickdown facility ie when cruising 70-80 and kickdown, off she goes, but this is very intermittent in the morning, not as bad coming home in evening. Could this be a temp sensor of some saught or water pump problem? Would be very grateful of any ideas.
Thankyou very much Jtudds |
