5sfe guys...need your help

Look under your hood on the back of your intake manifold. Your vacuum modulator is about in the middle. Next to it, to the left, there is a mechanism that screws into the manifold, its black, kinda looks like an acorn i guess, and it has a nipple on it for a cavume hose to go. I need to know where that vacume hose leads to and what that mechanism is. The hose came off of it and i cant see it sitting anywhere so i have no idea what is supposed to connect to this thing. Thanx in advance guys

See the vacuum modulator, the large black thing about in the center of the manifold? Just to the left ther is a small mechanism screwed into the manifold. In that pic there is a red hose connected to it that shoots straight toward the firewall. Just next to that is a black hose connected to the manifold. Where does the red hose conected to the small mechanism go and where does that black hose (just left of teh mechanism) lead to? Thanx for the pic.

The red go to MAP sensor. The black one was plugged. Now its my idle control since I'm using a 92 TB with no idle screw on a 90 5S-FE which need one. Oh maybe its for cruse control. Oh maybe regulator on fuel rail.
