Quick electrical question
Hi folks =) hope your subpar-long weekend went well !
Im experiencing problems getting any power using an adapter for my cigarette lighter. If i do use the actual lighter, it does get hot. I'm just wondering if how this can be resolved, or if its a fuse blown out. If so, which fuse. I have a 92 celica (Note, Ive already tested out the adapter on another car and it works fine) Thanks in advance! |

get a multi tester and check if theres power coming out of the socket. + in the center and - on the sides. Also check your plug the fuse may be blown in the thing your trying to plug in, check the length of the contact in the center as well as the sides make sure they are touching the contacts in the lighter socket (twist it around to see if it will get any life)
let us know (it may just be dirty)
