Need help with TRD exhaust

Hi guys, I am a newbie here and I recently bought a 00 GTS and it came with TRD exhaust which started to make some funny sounds so I took it to my mechanic, and he said that the muffler exploded, there is a big hole on top of the muffler, anyways this is not repairable so I have to get a new one, so my question is it possible to get only a muffler (rear section) or it comes in a cat back form??,
Went to a dealer today and they are not really sure they have to check with Toyota Canada, but I was qouted $1000 for TRD extended exhaust (with body kit use) is that a cat back?

No I dont believe getting the muffler is possible, your best bet (if you want to stick with the TRD) would be trying to find one there's quite a few of them for sale on www.newcelica.org

woaaa wait...it has 3 year warranty from TRD....check that out first.

well dealership says one year warranty for TRD exhaust

its a class 1 performance part, it should be included in your vehicle warranty when you buy it. hmmm, if i were to get it from my dealer, and they install they offer exhaust warranty along till end of my cars warranty. did you buy it from someone?

Sounds good man. Keep me in mind as I NEED this. I have a standard lenght exhaust and would like to swap the tip out for an extended one.
