Re: Feeling bad!
yeah, I got my celica because i wanted a car with ac that looked good and was fiarly quick on the take off. I had an 88 Prelude si but without ac and it was really quick at high rpm. I got a gt coz i didn't do my research on the diff between the gt and the gt-s. Got the gt for 1700 and it was fine for the first 2 weeks then the ac broke! adn I had to fix the brakes. The ac cost me another 1700!! and the brakes I did my self so it was 80 for a new caliper. Now I find out that my celica really guzzels gas (360km to a full tank which is about $43 to fill up.. but its 80% city driving) I wouldn't mind paying for the gas if it was really fast but its not much faster then the Prelude Si and much tighter inside and gulps down fuel like theres no tomorrow. I've changed my fuel filter, plugs, oil to a 5w20 but I still get crappy milage. So in short yeah I would have rather paid $3900 or 3500 for an All Trac. At least it would have been a faster car with a better base engine to work on... oh well hind site sucks! at least my gt has no rust.
