Fuse Problem?

I installed an HID Conversion kit on my 2003 celi yesterday. My high and low beams are now HID's. Tested it yesterday, worked great. I turned on the car this morning and the HID's didn't work. Neither the high nor the low beams/runners worked. I drove to school and back, no lights. So I get back, and just as i was gonna try to fix the problem.. the lights started working again.

Does anyone know if I could have some sort of fuse problem... I replaced 2 appropriate fuses on the celi with the ones that came with the kit, but that was during the installation.

Anyone have this problem? Anyone have HID's?

any point that was connected to the car's body directly

if you dont knwo what ground points are i suggest you take this problem to whom ever installed the hid system, if oyu installed it your self with out knwoing waht ground points are i suggest you have it examined by someone that does so you dont ruin the kit and waste your $$$$

I installed it myself. The kit is completely plug and play and no part of the kit required grounding.

Any grounding there is, is from the existing set up, and I didn't change any of that.

I figured out what wasn't working that morning. The daytime running lights. When I checked last night, it was dark enough that the lights would turn on on its own.

So, now my problem is JUST the daytime running lights not functioning... anything else i could check for?

FIGURED IT OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason why my DRL's are not working, is beacuse the amount of voltage used to power the DRL's is less than the amount to power the regular bulb fully.

Therefore, when less power goes through the ballast, (when the DRL turns on) there isn't the right amount of voltage to be transformed by the ballast. The HID cannot dim like a regular bulb, so, the HID does not turn on at all.

Good to know if anyone else is planning on installing HID's

I'm gonna try to see if i can make the Lowbeams turn on as my DRL

Disable DRL or remove HID. The low voltage will burn the ballast.
