NISMO Cold Air Intake

Got myself a NISMO CAI the other day. Got a decent deal on it. Dealer wanted 400 paid 300.

Here are some pics.

Re: NISMO Cold Air Intake

it sounds alot different now. the thing I love the most about the intake is that you can't really notice a sound difference until 4000 rpm. I should have started filming earlier as at 4000 her note changes completely.

Re: NISMO Cold Air Intake

so, the CAI came with the heat shield? or is tht the OEM airbox? looks good, but the $300 price tag is kinda heavy for me

Re: NISMO Cold Air Intake

300 is actually a great price for a brand new CAI. Most people spend around 250 without the heat sheild. but yeah it expensive for a 3 inch pipe a filter and a piece of metal

AEM actually designed the NISMO intake. They took an AEM intake painted it black and put a sticker on it. The pipe is the exact same. I am not sure if the AEM one comes with the heat sheild though....
