Whats are possible causes of it....

my 93 golf has wet carpets for some reasons and a lot of frost on the inside whenever I wake up, where as my 4runner does not

so... ideas?

@Pineapple: Yes you did Pineapple, and I thank you, I just wanted to cover all bases since all people here are not everywhere else, and one person may come up with a solution on one board, where another may not. Anyways


So I may have found the problem

for those of you near Burlington, head down to fairview just west of Appleby for a free underside wash (3inch deep puddle lasting 10m)

or in my Golf's case, a footbath!
Yes thats right! I have no floor! (at least enough the girl in the car got soaked to her ankles..)

So, do I bust another $1700 on a floor (price from the Celica, so this will be MUCH more), get a new ride (winter IS over but I need a 2nd vehicle for my Mother), or do what crazy idea I'm thinking: Grab a donor 93+ Golf/Jetta and swap what I need to into it to get it legal, as I fear how much rust is on this car now that parts of my floor are rotted

ideas? suggestions?

its not safe for the person in the passenger side, if its getting soaked then the seat is probably gonna fall through eventually lol. Seriously though I would ditch it for 1000 bucks or something, take the moeny you would spend on fixing the issue and buy a car in better shape (your at 2500-2700 now with the money u save). You have options.

I realize that, but I don't know how bad this hole is, and I think the seat is pretty solid (I have throughly done some.... pounding... on the seat..... and yeah :)

anyways I'm going to pull the carpet once it dries and shine some light on the issue (literally)

You can get a body shop to weld it up for cheap.
