Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
I've read a lot of negative things about the rotary engine blowing up. I personally seen a friend's engine blew up but he was beating the shit out of that engine. Then again, any engine will be damaged if abused.

Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
hideous styling, fuel economy, shitty transmission, and i find the interior detestable. plus it's got no 'wow' factor. i drove it once and that was enough. i got no thrill out of it. it's saving grace is aftermarket support and an engine that responds well to modifications.

Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
I agree with the style, and fuel economy. Tranny is ok as well as the interior. My boss has done everything with the car except upgrading the turbo. I drove it the other day going down the dvp and I love how the car was stuck to the ground and had no body roll. I haven't driven an RX7 yet and the only reason why I am considering an RX7 is because a friend of mine can import it down here cheap!!. RX7's in trader go for atleast 20k and the one I am looking at is around 16k.

Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
Don't like WRX also. Drove it and it just a big powerful stable car (Buick, Cadillac???), not a sport car. Hence I end up with the RalliArt.
If you drove it and like it, that all it matter. |

Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
it's also more practical of the two. you can easily drive the WRX year-round. i don't know if that is enough to earn my love though. really depends on what the role of the car is going to be, and if it fits your criteria. other than both being turbocharged, i dont see them in the same class at all.

Re: 2003 WRX or 1992 RX7??
That's another thing. If I do pick up the RX7 I have to keep the truck. WRX can be driven all year around.
