from what it looks like
you get 2.9km per Litre of gas... which isn't good as the metric conversion of MPG is L / 100km example if you have a 60 L tank, and you get 12L / 100km you have a total possible 500km you can put on that tank before needing a refill 60 / 12 = 5, 5*100km = 500km 12L / 100 = 19.601 MPG I dono if thats backwards of if you get 8.87km / L (which doesn't make sense, you'd have no fuel economy) http://translate.google.com/translat...26safe%3Dof f

100 km / 2.9 km/L = 34.48L per 100 km. 34.48L / 4.545L/gal = 7.58gal per 100 km. 100 km / 1.6 km/mile = 62.5 miles. 62.5 miles / 7.58gal = 8.24 mpg(miles/gal). =8.24 mpg That is about the same as my '68 gets. 100 km / 8.87 km/L = 11.27L per 100 km. 11.27L / 4.545L/gal = 2.48gal per 100 km. 100 km / 1.6 km/mile = 62.5 miles. 62.5 miles / 2.48gal = 25.20 mpg(miles/gal). =25.20 mpg So the worst mileage the car got was 8mpg, and the best was 25mpg. Damn that car must love fuel. Last edited by wil_wil2 : 10-19-2006 at 01:24 AM. |
