newbie here...:)

Hi all!,
My parents bought a 1993 red celica GT coupe brand new, it was then handed down to me in 1996, then sold to my sister from 1999-2004, and then sold back to me TODAY!!

yehhhhYEH...My sister sold it to me for $1. She got a new maxima. Anyways I'm gonna use it as my commuter car. it has 175K miles on it but is still runs real strong.

It basically needs a new paint job, the paint is really faded with some minor rust marks and some dings and dents.

My first repair will be the air intake hose. I have an aftermarket weaponR..but i'm a little confused about the two holes in the pipe. Where do they connect to? should i capp them?

anyways it's cool to see alot of luv towards the celica especially 5th gen.

thanks

sounds liek you got the best deal ever... i have a red 1991....

as for the wepon R

yes cap them!

the only thing that runs to the intake is the temp sensor... the return line from the cankcase hooks to the throttle body...

hey Martin,
so connect one end to the throttle body, and the other end just stick a cone filter on it...and cap both holes...
any recommendations on the filter...The one i got is already dirty...unless i can just clean it again...it's a little used
