Bought a winter beater

3rd gen celica boys.

1983 Toyota Celica GT. with a 22R-E engine. Shit brown rwd drifter.

Car has 1 owner, 203k, no rust, no winters, owned by a lady.

Interior is A1, I haven't seen a firewall this clean in a while, everything works, from cruise control to A/C.

It sat for a bit, I put new rotors, pads and the caliper pistons were seized. Did my safety, now its ready for winter.

sweet car... but not much of a winter car.

what did you pay? cause if you only paid a few hundred it will be wicked when you put her into a snow bank but if you paid thousands bad move!

I actually paid 800 bucks for it. The guy gave me 4 brand new goodyear icetracks? I beleive. anyways. they are over 100$ a tire. I had no snowgrips left from last season. So I basically paid like 400 bucks for it.

I am going to drive it this winter, I don't think anyone wants a vintage celica. Might aswell trash it. lol.

I go through a beater a winter.

1 year: 1986 Corolla with a carb 60$
2 year: 1992 Paseo 200$
3 year: 1995 Escort 140$

4 year: this celica.

As a mechanic, safetys aren't much of a problem.

Emission tests: never had one fail, Even then, I am a certified emission dude. I can pass it if i want.

Oh yea, I already tried to drift it down the fresh dirtroad. Its not bad. My truck was better.
