So the motor is cranking, but wont turn over? If I read the post corretly, you may have a fuel or spark problem. With an intake, your for sure getting enough air. Try cleaning the throttle body, clean your fuel injectors(Gasoline additive), and make sure your spark plugs and wires are good. If your not getting enough fuel(clogged injectors), or you may just need a new fuel filter.
What octane are you using in the car, and how many km/miles on the motor? Have you done any fuel/spark plug upgrades?
If you try those ideas, and it still doesnt work, take off the intake piping from the throttle boddy, and while trying to start it, spray ether in. They use this in diesels to start on Really cold winter days.
**CAUTION** Ether is very explosive, so dont continually spray, 4-5 secs max, stop spraying, then spray again, keep repeating, while holding the throttle open. If the car starts coming to life, then dies, you know you have a fuel problem. If nothing still happens, you have a spark problem.
If you keep spraying, you will hear a loud pop, and you may go deaf for a while. As well, the can of Ether becomes a projectile. I know this first hand.
