hey guys i just baught a twm shifter and installed it if anyone has one is yours angled? cuz the one that i have is angled to the right im just wondering cuz i never seen anyone elses like this i just want to make sure its actually a twm shifter

yes, it's normal for a gt-s 6-speed because reverse is beside first gear. I've got a gt-s 6-speed as well, here's a pic of mine (should look the same as yours)

are you sure that's installed correctly?... i have installed these in gt's and gt's and not had this issue.

i followed the book step by step
doe syours have the twm painted on it? cuz myn is just a silver one and myn looks abnormally high did u guys put the aluminum spacers on the bottom?

i followed mine step by step as well. mine's a gun metal colour with TWM painted on it. Where did you get yours from? I ordered mine through a friend who gets discounts from TWM.
Martin, I'm pretty sure i installed mine correctly, cause i haven't had a problem with mine yet. Except for the fact that it's a stiff gear box. I've had that problem (stiffness) before i installed the SS. Is there anything that i can do to fix that problem?

i got myn off a guy from this site that was selling one and did u put the spacers on the bottom is that y myn is higher?

why would you need spacers? what shiftknob are you using? post up a pic.
if you're using the stock shiftknob, it should be lower in terms of overall height than mine. I'm using a momo shift knob.

oh ok..i guess i did then..i can't remember cause my install was about a year and a half ago. 00-gts: i'm guessing the replica momo shiftknob makes it look higher than it normally is. but then again, i'm pretty sure all twm shifters have their name inprinted on it somewhere. did you compare the shifter side by side when you had both of them out of the car (the stock one from the SS)?
