Question integrate ipod to celica

i'm not that good at the whole wiring deal with cars, so here's a question for I guess anybody who knows alot about wiring (audio).
I'm trying to hard wire an ipod into my car (audio and power) I've got a USB car charger that plugs into the cigarette lighter, but would like to know if it's possible to hardwire the USB cord to the car and also as for the audio. I've got the stock Toyota (JBL) deck with the cd player and tape deck. I don't like using the tape deck cause the quality of sound is not that great.
I've heard that there are some FM modulators (not transmitters) that you can buy and install into the deck, but not sure if it'll work or not. and also there is a unit that you can buy that plugs into the back of the stock deck (cd changer plug) but they're ridiculously expensive. thanx for any help.

its easy if you have an alipne deck or a deck with an input with alpine you get the adapter for the auxillary port that makes it RCA then rca to mini jack cable then it allows for any mp3 or laptop hook ups,,, the front deck input all you need is a mini jack to mini jack

hah..thanx..I talked to martin today and i've been searching everywhere to find out some stuff..and yeah..i would be an idiot to use the stock deck for the ipod. I'm looking at gettin' an aftermarket deck with aux input. :D Low budget...jvc maybe?

also, i'd like to ask those who have customized their interior plastics..i've got quite a few scratches on the plastics on the interior of my car, so i wanna paint over some of the pieces. I just need some ideas of any good brands of primer, paint, and clear coats that i should use. thanx.

im using the oem scion HU and its ipod capable...makes the soud quality bad ass using stock speakers...clearer..more bass.................

as for paint..id paint the whole interior flat black...using any typical primer would be fine..i prefer duplicolor or similar..YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

There are iPod interface kit for Toyota but I don't know what years it work with.

A few notes if you want to hardwire it yourself:
USB is 5V, your car is 12V
You may need a pre-amp to use headphone output.
