fiberglass sub box

hey guys do you think a fiberglass sub box preforms like a normal wooden one?
i was thinking of structuring my spare tire space with a fiberglass enclosure box...
but dont know how the sound will preform... would it be a deeper sound or it will rattle and sound like shit.. i guess it has to be thick fiberglass into order for it to sound deep.
if anyone has this set up or experience that sound of a fiberglass enclosure box plz share the info

it does not.... period...

it may not rattle but it also will not absorb like MDF... really nothing sounds better than the right wood and the right cubic inch's for the subs you choose... however making a MDF box can be done then moulded into the trunk... imagin a box in that area then a sub in it then fiberglass to cover it and shape it to the trunk.. that's your best bet.
