Ground wire

Ok, so I was looking at ebay for a new toy for my car...and I found a ground wire kit that also includes a "stabilizer system". Does anyone actually know if replacing the ground wire or adding a "stabilizer system" actually do anything. Here's the site I found it at, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/GREDD...3501 42QQrdZ1
Thanks for the help!

yes, when every little bit helps, upgrading your ground wires can make a difference...otherwise they are just for looks. I can't say they don't do anything...but there is a good chance that they wouldn't do enough for you to notice a difference in performance.
if you got an extra $50 laying around, go for it, couldn't hurt

Yeah that probably makes sense, but do you know anything about the "stabilizer system"?? Also, does the aftermarket ground wire just hook up to the negative battery terminal, or does it go somewhere else?

I may be way off, but I think the stabilizer system would have to do with stabilizing the voltage, to keep it more consistent than normally (but that's just a guess)

to answer question #2

Direct ground path from battery negative to body, chassis and engine components...
so yes, it hooks directly to your negative terminal, and wires run to your body, chassis and engine components

edit: if you go to your link there, they have a picture describing where the wires are to be run (right under the pic of the kit, and beside the description with black background)
