Induction Idea! What do ya think...

I just removed the butterfly valve from my induction system, being very pleased with the results... and sound ;)

Whilst doing so... I noticed, possibly a restrictive plastic cover in the way of any air flow!

So i took some pics below, and have marked where i think should be cut out.
Tell me what you think!

Sorry it might not be very clear. I dont understand why that plastic is there, i cant see many other ways of air actualy getting to the filter!

Cheers

"restrictive" molding!... lol
Also, Look at this behind my upper grill.
I have foam behind my grill! but not on the other side of the grill.
Should i take it out? whats it for?

I believe that foam is for accidents..just so that if you get into a minor fender bender, you don't screw up your whole bumper...

Ah dam.. was hoping to remove it. Maybe i'll be alright just cutting a rectangle shape hole in it like on the other side of the bumper... i dont understand why they didnt cut the holes in front of the Filter instead of nothing on the other side lol.
