UK VVTi 1.8
Im probably being a bit thick here... I just dont know!!
As I live in the UK, all we have over here is Celica VVTi 1.8 and a VVTi-L 1.8- (T-sport) No one refers on this site to any of their cars as a standard VVTi or T-Sport. Im guessing.... our (standard VVTi) is the same as the American (GT) ?? 140 bhp, front and rear disk brakes? I have no idea to be honest! So someone tell me what is the spec difference to all US and UK Celicas!! Its difficult as when im browsing tuning sites etc, they all say For celica GT or something else.... never a standard UK VVTi!!!! Arghhh Thankyou lol. |

LOL @ jimmy,
140 = GT (VVTI) 190 / T-Sport = GTS (VVTLI) peeps in Canada and US have left hand drive they also get the cruise control which we don't. But they don't get the electronic display air con as we do on the 190 - T-Sports but the 140 manual control is the same as theirs. Since our fuel is also higher Ron our cars have 140 and 189 BHP not 100% sure on the GT could be 134 but the GTS is approx 180 bhp few other minor differences also. cloth leather interior. but saying that the Japs get all the extras including the electrically fold away mirrors (damn wamt those) also a host of extras optional extras on some moddels but stock on others Sports-M :- TRD header - High compression pistons - Trim, Kit, steering wheel, LSD, clutch etc etc In Europe they have the T23 and T21 I the T23 being the 190 (T-Sport) GTS and I think the T21 the 140 or GT if you like the engines are also depicted 1ZZ being the GT and 2ZZ the GTS. hope this helps
