GT rear brake conversion

I read that someone converted the rear dums on a gt to dics brakes... Where did u do this/get thsi from, and how much was it for the kit thing? Thanks

junk yard off a crashed gts
or go to dealer.

my dealer offered me a good deal on a rear disc brake system they removed from a gts for replacement. ofcourse they would rebuild it + warranty it fully.

ask around.

you should be able to get what u need for aboud 500-700 bucks off a wrecked GTS

doesnt seem to dificult, i went through everything but did see the advantage to switching just quite yet, theres a really good Install guide out there just cant remember where i saw it

just get better front brakes. celica drums are not bad at all.

^^plus you only need disc's if you are producing serious power and going really fast and have to stop really really quickly. Rear discs are retardedly expensive and only belong on high performance sports cars, race cars, rally cars and the like. However if you feel the need that you must have rear discs, expect to replace them a lot sooner and more frequently than drums.
