from what someone posted, the kit is good, u just have to invest an extra 100 bucks. The specs are quite impressive. Does anyone have an actual dyno with this kit in real terms. Not factory tested?

the problem most people have had with this kit is the customer serivce from ATR, people have had problems getting their kits and i've heard some negative things about the kit. and you will definately need a GOOD mechanic to install it.

in that case you should have just gotten him to turbo the car himself from the ground up.

Would that be cheaper? I can still cancell my order i think. I would rather him do it but i thought getting a kit is easier. Where is a good place to find a new manifold for an 01 gt?.... Does it depend on what size turbo i use?

honestly if he really is that good then it would be better for him to do everything. That way when you go to tune it, repairs, maintainance, etc. he will know exactly what's going on. A "kit" may be cheaper to buy in the short term but a custom turbo (if you plan to stick with this guy throughout) will be much yeild you much less headaches and probably be cheaper in the long run.
