curious, what is everyones rpm at 100km

mine is 3000@100km on my 03 gt.

5th for me since i have a gt, but how was your gt/gts and now g35?

4th gear at 4000rpm around the 100km/h mark in the G35. *Don't really remember for the celica but I believe both my GT and GT-S were around the 3500rpm point in 5th/6th gear respectively at 100km/h

Yeah, ive heard others had different numbers, i drove a gt last night it was at 3500@100km in 5th gear, mine is at 3000. could it be due to engine's age?

The gear ratio is fixed so it won't change with age. Could be gauge not accurate.

I run 100km/h at about 8000 RPM in 2nd gear. *Its loud. I think it is road noise.

Wow.... i need to drive one of the new ones i think.... 3000RPMs gets me 70mph (~113kmph).

I think at 100kmph i'm around 2600?

I had to read this twice, I thought I read 100 is 2nd, then I realized, thats what you wrote.

You may be right on the road noise, might even be the tires.

mines runs at 2200rpm or 2300rpm......auto...overdrive:(....good gas mileage tho

5 speed GT -100km/h @ 3K.
Each 20km/h the rpm's go up by 600. 120km/h @ 3600, 140km/h @ 4200.
