swapping 1zz to 2zz

i own a 2000 GT and need some more power. I don't know too much about modding, and i know you guys can help me out. I was thinking about switching my 1zz engine to a 2zz. is it possible, is it worth it? what kind of costs would be involved in doing something like this? any info is appreciated.

possible, not worth it for the money u only gain like 25 hp, alot of money.

well its better getting 165-170 at the wheels than 125 from a gt. (considering, intake/exhaust)

I was looking around and there is a new turbo kit for the GT. its an ATR turbo kit

that kit is solid, i just ordered it, they do what they say. Good stuff and i reccomend. It is cheap too.

oil line fraying if install is crappy, tuning every so often

you guys think that a turbo kit is the answer to all your wants/needs when in fact, it's just the beginning.

be prepared for

clutch
flywheel
lsd (unless you like changing lanes when you shift)
gauges (and learning how to read them)
tuning
things breaking (and they WILL break)
checking oil every fillup
checking hoses, lines, wires constantly

just get a car that was meant to be turbo'd in the first place.

is it when u accelerate to quickly and the steering pulls itself????? thats the only thing i can think of because its too much power or whatever it is

oh yeah, i have that with my moms 06 eclipse gt vs thing.... its a bitch, they should have done RWD on it, and on celicas while i think of it... cheap bastards
