Struts/springs
Hey guys. I drive an 03 TRD GTS and I was looking to lower the car a little. I can't decide which to buy. Shocks/springs, or coilovers. I need to drive this in the winter but I also want to slam it low for the summer. So, I was thinking going with the Tein SS-P. Or maybe I can just get away with going with KYB or Koni with Eibach Pro (I know this isn't that much of a drop). Any comments or suggestions are appreciated...
Jay... Oh and another thing. Should I buy the strut braces and sway bars as well??? (Thinking C-One upper braces for front and rear, and Hotchkis Sways) |

1) you don't need koni's if you are going to go with the Eibach prokit (even your stock shocks will be fine for a long while)
2) your best bet is to go with a full coilover set-up if you want to change the ride height in the summer/winter (Tein's are great) 3) I would go with teh Hotchkis sway bars before anything else...move on from there to your front and rear strut bars (APR/TRD..lots of brands will do)

Alright... I priced them out down here in and the Tein SS-P is running at $1958.75+Tax (Windsor Ontario). Anyone know of any shops that carry them for cheaper???? (Any place in Ontario between Windsor and Toronto preferably)

Ahh so u in windsor? Where in windsor r u ?
lil advice don't buy anything in Windsor it is too overpriced. try online titanmotorsports or even monkeywrench racing in michigan. But first try elementautoworks.

Ya... There's a Performance Part's Plus down here.. I know the guy... Cheapest place around... but he doesn't carry Tein's... I checked out MWR and they're priced at i think $1290 US (Tein SS-P), which converts over to a little under $1500 CAD (and probably the cheapest anyone's gonna get). The only problem is bringing over the border...
