anyone here have neon under or in there car? does it look good or bad?

i hadn't even thought or planned on getting them but a guy offered me free neon at the dealership which im sure ill take, im just wondering if they look gay or not.

It depends on the color and if it match your car or not. I got a set of blue I will put on my Celica. I need a transformer for it.

Neon is a matter of what ur taste is. Some people like and some don't. I have blue neon on my black celica and I think it looks pretty good. Like piney said, just match it to ur car.

well if im getting it for free im not gonna turn it down, but ill get a switch to turn them on and off when i like.

my cars a burgundy red, if you look in the "offical pic thread" its in there.

bionexus, the ones that where gonna go on my car came from a black celica too, they were also blue.

you can even get light up switches , i have like 8 left over if you werent so far away id help ya with it.

these control 2 under dash lights and 2 trunk lights

it' looks ok... but i wouldn't have used the screws, maybe black urethane or somthing... also if i did use some screws i would have done 4 of em...

i have 4 screws now and im just to lazy to take it all apart to vinyl it black.

and i didnt make the box i made a faceplate, the box part was part of the stereo holder thing. you could store 3 cd cases underneath

really hassle you for having them on.

Cop will bother you only if you have it on while driving on the road. Some may not bother, some may stop you for a warnng. Flashing neon will for sure get stop.

yeah I was looking at the ones that can make patterns but they might not be worth the extra 100 bucks. Since they'd be off must of the time.

there are ones on ebay that are really flexible and are very hard to break around 200 bucks

i have Varad Phaze LED underbodies. They have about 13 different modes they can flash along with 4 intensities of brightness. Varad makes some good kits. Along with iceled. I believe the site addy is iceled.uk.

I have the gold series from streetglow. Haven't had any problems at all. And if u buy the gold series, supposedly u have a lifetime warranty on any of the bulbs burning out.
