RHD Conversion

I have a '95 GT an' I was wondering if there was anyone with any experience on doin' a right hand drive conversion for one. I just bought a J-Spec engine that my mechanic (also my best friend so no labor charge) and I are gonna swap in after we clean it up an' replace anything that needs it.

Any advice or links would be appreciated.

You don't need to convert to RHD to use JDM engine.
Also all the power is in the ECU.

1) Time is no matter. I live in po-dunk nowhere, an' it beats cow-tippin'.
2) Money doesn't matter since the only other thing I buy is tattoo's.
3) Resources... well... why the hell not?

The engine's cheap, all necessary parts come from junkyard MR2's an' other celica's. An' we do it because we can. That cover everything?

Now back to the question, anyone with any actually CONSTRUCTIVE posts to make?

Not much. Beside you'll need a RHD dash.

well think about it
do you really feel like getting pulled over by cops every day?

plus you would have to put like a 10000 stickers on your car that say RHD. and it will look like Ass.

Just swap the engine.

There was some guy on TN asking the same thing. Post went on and on forever. Theres no convincing these people that it just doesnt make sense to do.

If you want a RHD car, move to Japan

heres some constructive idea... look for the reversed engine with the tranny on the other side.. if you find that i will come help ya out

the sticker isnt that big of a deal...my friend drives a RHD integra type R and all he has is a little sticker on the back of his car thats says "this is a right hand drive vehicle" it seems pretty useless as it is so small...and also he has never been pulled over by cops becuase of anything.

im guessing its 94......or higher

which means it cant really be here , unless it is illegally without legit papers, because of the 15 year old rule.

i also know someone who had one. but he had to part it out because its not drivable here....yet

thats why you only see like 89 and 90 skylines here and not 91+
