My Celi Is Sick Again:(
Having Another Problem With My Celica! I Was Driving To My Friends house About To Pull In His Driveway And Went To Downshift And Wouldnt Come Out Of Gear. Wont Go In Gear Driving Down Road And When Its Sitting With Clutch Pushed In In First Gear It Makes A Really Bad Noise And It Wants To Like Takeoff Any Ideas To What It Is??

could be a leak in your clutch hydraulics...preventing your clutch from disengaging all the way... check the master and slave cylinders for leaks... I am not sure where exactly they are located except that the slave is down on the transmission, if you look down in the engine bay past your intake you should see it

I had the same thing happen to me years ago with a Honda and turned out to be a failure with the clutch pressure plate release fingers. Made a lot of noise and wouldn't fully disengage to clutch witch made it difficult to shift. I had to turn off the motor and put it into first gear then start it back up when starting from a stand still. Unfortunately a new clutch was the only was to remedy the problem.

Well if it is the clutch i would like to put a stage 2 clutch and a lighter flywheel on my car but unsure cause i have an all stock engine, Any reccomendations for one?

to be honest I would check the easy to fix stuff first... because either way the problem is the clutch is not fully disengaging... so start with the master cylinder then check the slave cylinder and then tear apart you r clutch if you haven't solved the problem
