Have quite a problem ..

Okay, so I was driving yesterday.. Brought my celica up to 6000 RPM in 1st and it just wouldn't push anything farther than that.. It sounded really weird so I shifted into 2nd and tried pushing it past 6000 again and still did the same thing.. I did it again today and it actually worked so I am not really sure why that is happening.. I know my check engine light is on and it says my cylinders are misfiring could that perhaps be the issue?

Re: Have quite a problem ..

Most likely that's your problem. A lot of the time when a motor does that its because its in limp mode. And will allow you to drive to the nearest service center or back home. If you pull the codes list what they are and we will beable to help you more.

Well I read all this and driving with misfires isn't going to turn out so well for you.

Re: Have quite a problem ..

It's definitely a big issue. I'd have that checked and corrected before huge unrepairable damage is done.
