So I go to get my tires rebalanced today because they diod it wrong the other day. I go and take her in and I turn around and the jack ass is going at my locking nuts with the impact hammer and even with the key he manages to fuck up the lip on the hols for the lugs.. Like its tore. So I proceeded to flip the hell out after the manager told me the he wasn't responsible. After arguing with the moron for like 30 min I proceed to tell him to get the fuck outta my car and peel out.. I think I left a mark on the pavement... He dont know it yet but im going in first thing tomorrow...

It sounds like you went to just any mechanic shop. Most places that specialize in wheels know how to remove lug nuts without ruining them. I hope your were able to stop him at the first one.

I went to a place that has a chain of 1200... But im pretty sure im screwed. They are liein their asses off. im waiting for a call back from the chain's president im supposed to get a call in 48-72 hours. If not im going to freckin claims court just to piss them off

Oh I would that is right fucked up. I'd raise hell like no tomorrow I'd put up signs about their shitty work.

He tried to blame it on the lock nuts saying they were too tight and they didnt put them on. 1. They got 3 others off before he fucked up on the 4th. 2. its his fuckin job to get them off and he didnt need to go at it 4 times and get lose with a impact wrench and 3. one of the other guys told him to use a breaker bar instead and he didnt. So im going to get a wheel or slit that son of a bitch's tires and take a sledge hammer to hid truck Oh and I have a torque wrench so I know they were on the exact specs that they had them. Then he wanted to lie after that about maybe it was cross threaded.. Then wouldnt that screw up putting on another lug? which I already have and we put them on by hand and then torqued them.

And How do you post pics? You still cant tell and they look BA but still

Luckily I talked to the woman in charge of those stores and even SHE was like really on even using a torque wrench in the first place let alone how they acted so shes going to talk them and Im thinking it will pan out.

well this is to prevent future searchers/wheel hunters/future readers of this thread to be looking for some brands to choose from. i was also hunting for a good brand and i think i wil be having a hard time selecting which one is the best. http://www.celispeed.com/forums/gene...now-about.html toyota wheel the thread was 2005 but still very useful to me. anyway just spreading out what i found. cheers! im gonna be posting here my new set of wheels this week.lol but it still depends if i already have something in mind which one to buy.
