Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

Its been about 1 1/2 months since my intake initially arrived.

I finally got it back again. And So far it works beautifully. (only drove 5 1/2 miles so far)

-The supplied screws didn't fit properly so I used the existing ones.
-The supplied hose was too loose so I used appropriate clamps. (It looks nicer than the original hose so I had to replace it)
-And the bracket that came with it is useless.

But..The intake works, hasnt triggered the check engine light, came with an HPS filter, and for $50 it's worth it ... So far

Result --- > Happy

thanks. I am happy they made good on it. And i've drove for about 18 miles with no problems so far. I hope all works well from here on out.

Time will tell if your CEL stays off but if you found a problem and corrected it then I wouldn't expect anymore trouble. Good Luck and drive it like you stole it!

I have been. And I'll post again when I have reached at least 100 miles. A CEL should pop up by then if there is a problem.

just watch that gas mileage go down when you drive like that. when im in a bad mood or my back or knee hurts i go out and beat on my car makes me feel a hell of a lot better

im bad at speeding in some places ive taken my car up to 115 or 120 atleast once a month since ive had it. so i beat on it alot.

Funny u say that because the main reason I use my cruise control is to slow me down. If I don't then the next thing I know I find myself at risk of a speeding ticket cuz it's so easy to speed with out knowing. The first thing My wife said after driving it was "It's easy to get a ticket driving this thing." Luckily I have had only one verbal warning scince owning her.

its all stop and go here. So i'll go up to 40-50 between stop signs lol killing my brakes though ... just wanna make sure no CEL pops up
