The $25 one is effective? Worth the money?

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

yeah it works. they just copy a major brand name. it is better to use a better brand filter then what they give u though

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

When it comes to intakes the brand of pipe really dont matter. They will all pretty much b 2.5, 2.75, or 3.0 inches in diameter. as long as the diameter is the same on a cheap pipe as a name brand and the sensor position is correct then its going to be identical. All that matters is the filter.

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

Hi flow air filter set ups are old news....if you are having this problem it is probably a quality issue with your part.......try using a reputable dealer like K&N i know HPS is supposed to be reputable but if it doesnt bolt on directly without too much customization?.....its crap plain and simple

good luck

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

Good news. They finally responded. They will be sending me a prepaid label to ship them back the pipe. They say they will replace it with one that has a correct sensor position/direction. Ill update when I see what happens from here

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

Member 01celiGtS just bought one as well and has the same problem with the sensor orientation. I think when these short ram intakes were made for the company the whole order was messed up. I think I just saved the company future grief lol

Re: Short Ram Intake - HELP !?

if i wanted a refund they charge a restocking fee and I would have had to pay to ship it back. And it was a gift from my girlfriend so I wouldnt want to return it
