2000-2005 celica, what years had the most problems
Hello folks , I 'm in the market to buy a celica GT auto . I would like to know what years had the most problems? I read some where that the 00 to 02 had oil consumption problems . I'f its true, I would love to avoid those years if possible.
I also heard that this problem is know in the gts also thanks for the replay's |

I know 2000-02 GT including my 2000 gt have had tons of issues with oil consumption. 03-05 were better on that though

have a 2000 gts that i brought with 78k miles 3yr ago until this day with 110k miles no problems.they said they were the best years. this thing its like a lion that wants to break trough a cage.

If you are buying a GT, the newer the better. I had a 2000 GT, and then a 2003 GT and GT-S and the difference in quality feel was significant (IMO anyway) Plus the 03 interior looks much nicer...unless you like the 00-02 ugly purplish/gray plastics.
