changing 2000 celica atenna to s2000 short antenna
Does anyone knwo what is involved in changing atennas?? I dont' want that lightning rod antenna anymore since it always gets in the way when I park my car into my low celing garage.
I seen a couple pics of the s 2000 antenna and its just a "screw in" type of antenna. can I take out my celica antenna and insert the s2000 antenna? |

Should be able to just screw it in. I'd buy some lock-tite so that it will stay put. A few folks have reported people stealing their s2000 antennas.

I'm planning to buy the 2001 s2000 Antenna from Honda. Does it matter what year antenna???
I would imgine that the newer models antenna wont fit. What year antenna people usually get for their celica? |

any s2000 antenna is the same as far as I know, but you need a 7th gen celica antenna base

i went to my local honda dealer at the time(2004) and bought one for 50 bucks. Unscrewed the old one, put some blue loctite on it, screwed it in. Then i bought a toyota black paint pen and colored the showing chrome. Worked like a charm!
