Hello everyone, I'm new to the Celispeed Community. I live in southern Arkansas. I have an Acura TL Type-S that is my daily driver. And I want a 7th gen. Celica GTS. I have wanted one for a long time, and now its time to get one.

I have a few questions first though, is the Celica GT-S Automatic slow?

What are the RPM's when cruising on the highway at 70mph in 4th gear?

Is a silver 2001 Toyota Celica GT-S Automatic with 85,000 miles a good deal for $7,998? It is completely loaded, black leather, sunroof, upgraded CD player, chrome wheels, aftermarket taillamps, fog lights, etc.

I think it is a good deal, what about you guys?

Welcome to the site, everyones seems to be on holidays but it might pick back up in the winter.

If its a good deal to you then its a good deal, its only as good as you want it, some people think selling these cars $15k is low-balling.

If you're concerned about price compare with New Car Prices, Used Car Prices, Blue Book Value, Car Reviews - Official Kelley Blue Book Site or any used car guide. Another way is find 5-10 cars of the same mileage/options and average those prices out.

Keep in mind, its a 8 year old car (2001 were produced mainly in 2000), with 85,000 miles (only 10,500~ miles a year, seems low to me, but could have been in town only). Make sure that everything lines up, heres a good guide for buying used.
