I'm thinking about putting a chip in my 2003 gt. What is the best company to buy from and what kinda chip should I get?

Re: 7th gen chip

I appreciate it man. Although i'm not quite sure if i'm ready to drop $900 for that...might just have to do the exhaust instead. Any ideals on that? I'm looking to have more of a deeper sound as oposed to the high pitched tone.

Re: 7th gen chip

Then you will want Borla or TRD exhaust. But look into that quick at toyota dealers, because they have been discontinued.

Sparks Toyota

Yeah 900 is pricey, and if you do get one pick up a used one. it will be cheaper. And its more for a turbo/supercharger setup kind of tool. Friend hooked it up to his GT like you wanted, it ran alot nicer, but it didnt pass emissions.

Re: 7th gen chip

The trd one is sounding good. at the performance store where i live, the lady told me to go with a borla...the only thing i didn't like about it is that it had a 4 inch tip.

Re: 7th gen chip

It really isnt that big actually, it sounds big, but it actually looks nice, If you change the tip it might alter the sound too. so becareful.

You really have to see for yourself in person to make a judgement
