Hi all,
I know nothing about anything under my 2001 Celica's hood :P I brought my car to the dealer for regular maintenance n they said I need to change my front brake (7% left) n air filter. I'm now looking for parts n comparing prices. Question: Is the brand important for air filter and brakes? If it is, which brand would you recommend? Thx :) |

Re: Need info about air filter and brake pads
Air filter is a good do-it-yourself project. You could get a reusable K&N or just a disposable one from Toyota, or a Wix from your local auto parts store. Raybestos makes good brake pads, but Toyota pads will be a good bet, too. Get quotes from local shops on the brake job as the dealer will probably charge the most.
also, newcelica.org is a great celica resource. |
