exhaust help plz

hey guys,

i have an 01 gt-s with a blitz nur-spec axle back. all i want to do now with my exhaust system is make the sound deeper and have more of a growl without making it louder (if possible). so im not sure which route to take: 1) dc headers, 2) a cat-back (with a high flow cat), or 3) a test pipe (and delete a cat).

any suggestions/alternatives would help A LOT :D

Thanks!

Re: exhaust help plz

Do not delete the cat ... you fuck up on emisions., ot with tha cat-back it will make that ride sound deep and not loud like a fart can

Re: exhaust help plz

Headers are your best option. Getting a test pipe is the worst idea. It will make your car sound like crap!! Although, all of those options will make it louder. The only way to change the tone is to change your axle back exhaust. Good luck.

Re: exhaust help plz

ok thanks!! that's what i was thinking too. im getting a tranny swap, so im thinking ill approach the exhaust system again after i do that. Exhaust systems sound different on an automatic vs. a manual, right? I love the way my car sounds with just the axle back, so maybe i shouldnt mess with it anyways.

Thanks again! :D
