Got Sylvania Silverstars for the RSX

i had wanted to try these for awhile now as it seems they are the only brand of aftermarket bulbs that ppl have had a positive experience with

well yesterday when i started my car, one of my lights blew (prev. owner had installed pac. mall crap so it was only a matter of time)

went to crappy tire, picked up 2 bulbs ($60 incl. tax) and installed them right there in the parking lot.

review so far:

colour - very, very nice. it's a bright, bright white with only the slightest hue of blue. FAR from the blue crap those fake HID bulbs put out

light output - extremely impressed. because it shines PURE white and not blue, i have no doubt that they are brighter than the stocks and most certainly all that aftermarket crap

longevity - i'll update this if they blow on me :D

overall: recommended. for 60 bones you get great light output and a very nice colour. obviously not as bright as true HID's but i know that i will never get a ticket with these and i can buy 10 sets of these before buying a true HID kit.

They tends to last about a year.

if they last a year then that's pretty good. If not just go with a real HID kit

that is the goin msrp rate in canada from what i've seen

either way, it's something i would never purchase.

Ive seen them in shops in TO around 600-700 for the Catz kit.

uhh, the REAL JDM kit, not HID kit
