1ZZ Crower cams are out
Just read this NC.org the GT has now got Crower performance cams. By the looks of things TPR is also gonna be producing a set.

Not at the moment as far as I believe. Probably best as you said wait for the offical, and private Dynos before purchasing. Would be interesting to compare with TPR (when their finnished) which set is gonna be better. This is good day for the Gen 7 GT. Now if they just get there fingers out and produce some GTS cams that would be even better

My guess is that it won't have that large of an effect on the GT. Sure these new cams might shift the powerband higher, but overall gains I think will be minimal. Its a relatively low-comp N/A motor. I dont see the point of aftermarket cams, unless that engine is pumping a lot more air, like in a turbo setup.
And didnt Monkey Wrench racing have cams out a long time ago for the GT? |
