Basically nothing for the 4A-FE. It an economic engine. The 4A-GE is the performance brother and got all the supports. It depends on how much $$$ you want to spend and how much HP you want from it. The 4A-GE is a high rev low torque engine. If you want torque get something else or turbo the engine. The most HP you can get from the 4A-GE is 240HP. That's Formula Atlantic spec with 12000RPM redline.

yeah see i planned on just takeing my time with it and rebuilding it in my garage
the only reason i say take my time is because i do want the head shaved ..and have a 3 way valuve job done on it and lighten some components in the engien..up the fuel delivery, turbo charge(twin if the funds are right) and getting a mt and up gradeing the clutch fly wheel(shaveing it) short throw shifter ..basicly rebuilding it with a bunch of ups

Then get a 4A-GZE, the block is design for boost and it'll hold pressure much better. The 4A-GE got high comp piston which is no good for turbo. Don't twin changer it for power, a proper sized turbo got more power and much easier. Twin changer for fun is acceptable.
