wheel well trim
Hi everybody, the other week the plastic splash gaurd/trim that lines the wheel well of my front passenger wheel fell off on the freeway. I think it was just due to those plastic rivet things being really worn down, because i noticed they were in poor condition when i took that part off last month to put my cai in.
Anyways, i was looking around to get a new one before the rainy season so my intake has some protection, but i was having a little trouble. I was hoping to not go through a dealer because i know they will probably charge me 4 times the price the part is actually worth, so does anybody know any good places i should check for these sorts of parts? any suggestions appreciated, thanks. also, is having no protection between the intake and the ground right now a problem, or is it just going to make the filter dirtier quicker? |

Try a local second-hand parts dealer. If you live in Oakland, check out recycler.com as well And yes, I've had mine "fall off" before...but it was in a garage...not on the freeway xD the piece costs anywhere from $11~$65 depending on who you get it from (I believe my replacement was $14 from Pick-A-Part Auto)
